Fly to San Jose

Days 1-2: San Jose, San Jose and Central Valley, Costa Rica

Revive after your flight in San Jose, ready for the start of your epic adventure the following day.  During your time here you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy dinner at one of the best restaurants in the city or venture out into the capital for further exploration.

Days 2-4: Turrialba and Pacuare

The next stop on your adventure is Siquirres. Jump aboard your raft to start your thrilling white-water rafting experience on the Pacuare River in the heart of the rainforest.  Offering the perfect combination of river rafting and rainforest hiking, spend two nights in these beautiful, exotic and stress-free surroundings and choose from a wide range of activities organised by the lodge.

Days 4-5: Coffee Region, San Jose and Central Valley, Costa Rica

Today you will be transferred to Heredia, for one night you will stay at the hilltop hideaway of Finca Rosa Blanca, an organic coffee plantation in Costa Rica’s Central Valley spread across nine acres of gorgeously landscaped gardens, coffee estates and cloud-forest.  Take time to relax here before your journey to the wild Osa Peninsula tomorrow.

Coffee Tour at Finca Rosa Blanca

Wake up and smell the coffee on a morning tour of Finca Rosa Blanca's coffee farm; the guides are knowledgeable and passionate to teach you all about the process from picking to the packaging; whilst taking in beautiful mountain scenery.

Finca Rosa Blanca boasts a privileged location where the elevation is just perfect for growingdelicious Costa Rican coffee. Enjoy a 2.5 hour tour of the estate and learn about the growing and production processes to create the perfect cuppa.

After hiking through the verdant farm and learning how to pick the ripest beans, you will have opportunity to sit back on the terrace and taste the finished product for yourself whilst soaking in spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes.

Days 5-8: Osa Peninsula

Fly down to Puerto Jimenez for your next stay at a secluded eco-lodge on the Osa Peninsula, one of the most bio-diverse and untouched places in the country. Choose from a selection of activities here from sunrise and sunset tours, trips to wild waterfalls, hikes through the rainforest both during the day and the night so you have the chance to meet the jungle’s day and night-time residents! Days 8-11: Costa Ballena

This morning you will be transferred to Uvita where you will have three nights to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that awaits you, staying at the Kura Design Villas, an exclusive boutique retreat with sensational jungle and ocean views. Here you can take a guided visit to Corcovado National Park and go snorkelling at the Caño Island Biological Reserve- one of the best places to enjoy snorkelling and diving in Costa Rica. Swim in clear warm waters and discover pristine coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and sometimes manta rays, turtles and white-tipped sharks.

Day 12 Fly home from San Jose

Today you will be transferred to Quepos airstrip for a domestic flight back to San Jose, in time to connect with your overnight international flight home.
